A Different Kind of Survivor
Nobody remembers exactly when they first started calling themselves The Faction. There was no grand announcement, no flag planted in the ground, and no declaration of war. They simply appeared one wipe and started doing what they did best: organizing, planning, building, and winning.
At the center of it all was Mr.Worm. Most simply called him Worm.
Worm understood something about the Quiet that many survivors never learned: strength was not just about how many guns you had. It was about knowing when to move, where to strike, and how to survive when everything around you was trying to kill you.
Few places proved that better than the Convoy—a moving horde of armed enemies tearing its way across the Quiet, sometimes with Karen circling overhead, sometimes with Bradley joining the fight, and sometimes with both turning an already bad situation into something much worse.
Most survivors saw the Convoy coming and prepared for a fight. Worm saw a problem waiting to be solved. He learned its movements, when to push, when to hold back, and how to deal with the chaos when Karen or Bradley entered the battle. Eventually, taking down Convoys became one of the things Worm was known for.
But anyone expecting a screaming warlord commanding from a throne would have been disappointed. More often than not, Worm could be found with a cup of tea. Before the fight, before the guns came out, before another plan was put into motion—there was tea. Always tea.
Some survivors swear Worm could plan an entire assault on the Convoy before the kettle finished boiling. Others claim they watched him calmly drink while Karen screamed overhead moments before being blown out of the sky. Both stories are probably true.
Worm became known as Tea Master, Karen Destroyer, Convoy Master, and Strategy Expert. But above all else, he was the leader of The Faction.
“Worm saw a problem waiting to be solved.”
